9 AOB

    1. Following on from last years success another open day will be held on Saturday 20th May. We will request the use of Community Council bunting and could perhaps borrow a tea urn from Victoria Hall. George has a large Saltire flag, which can be flown from the pole. May will be asked to make up posters.
    2. Alan expressed disappointment at the poor turnout for a work day
    3. at the green the previous Saturday, but the few who turned up worked well. Thanks were expressed to Christina Dupar (a non member) who donated and even planted the bedding plants leading up to the clubhouse.

    4. League Teas: George announced that his wife, Karen, and Janet
    5. MacLeman might take on the work of organising the teas for

visiting league teams. This offer was met with unanimous approval.

It was also felt that other club members would be willing to help.

    6. Brian Cameron said that he and Allan Munro are willing to put on
    7. a Summer Dance (Saturday 23rd July) to raise more funds for the

club, providing they had help. There would be a raffle, for which

donations would be required, and possibly a ‘Glamorous Granny

Competition’. It would be a BYOB affair.

    8. Sandy will look into the purchase of three more scoreboards.

This being the last item, Alan thanked everyone for their input and closed the meeting.

The next meeting will be held on Tuesday 6th June in the CBC Clubhouse at 7:30 pm.
