club’s logo, along with the Cromarty Boat Club was to be looked
into and given consideration.
4 Treasurer’s Report
Sandy’s report advised that the club has a current bank balance of
£1597.46.
Alan informed everyone that we should have a result on our Awards
for All application by the middle of April. If successful then stage one
of our ambitious three year improvement plan for the club can begin.
5 Match Secretary’s Report
Brian was not present but Alan spoke about the Black Isle Pairs
Competition AGM at Conon Bridge and stated that someone from this
club would attend.
6 Green Keeper’s Report
George reported that the rinks were green but that there were a
number of bare patches that he had reseeded and that rink number
one might present a longer-term problem. What we needed now was
rain and an increase in the soil temperature to kick start the growing
season.
7 Property Convenor’s Report
Steve has found an exciting source for new clubhouse secure storage
lockers, which suit our needs. He will also talk to Brian Fairman
about the electrical rewiring of the clubhouse.
8. Youth Convenor’s report
Steve has been liasing with Wanda MacKay regarding the youth
indoor training programme starting at the end of April.
Dates, coaching, and advertising posters are being arranged and it all
looks very promising.
