    1. Alex Davidson explained that he had not yet been able to work
    2. on the club logo/sweater project.

    3. None of the committee members present would be able to attend

the NBL A.G.M. It was important for the club to be represented

as the proposed ‘Cromarty Open Pairs Competition’ was on the agenda. Alan H would speak to Allan and Andrew Munro.

4 Treasurer’s Report

Sandy reported that we had a current bank balance of £1597.46.

Payments still to go out included: Rink Marker Brackets, Fertiliser,

and Trophy Repairs. Additional scoreboards are also required.

5 Match Secretary’s Report

Brian had nothing to report

6 Green Keeper’s Report

The green is currently covered with snow. George has checked the

strike boards on the safety wall and they appear to be in reasonable

condition, not a priority. Sandy has obtained samples of 3 possible

types of compressed rubber ditch filler. Prices ranged between £16

and £26 per square metre, depending on the quality chosen and the

width of the ditch. Unanimous preference was for the lower priced,

shallower dimpled sample.

7 Property Convenor’s Report

Steve had nothing to report.

8. Youth Convenor’s report

Steve has spoken to Wanda MacKay about youth indoor training.

Wanda has e-mailed her contact on the R&C Sports Council and

awaits his reply. The availability of the Victoria Hall will now be

checked out and a training session, with tutor/s, drawn up for

March or early April 2006.

9. AOB

It has been proposed that we revise and update the Club constitution

to bring it more into line with today’s thinking and legal requirements.

Alan and Sandy will revise the constitution and e-mail to committee

members for their comments. It will then be sent out to members

along with notification of the club’s AGM, on the 20th April in the

Victoria Hall. Alan, Sandy and Alex to draft AGM notices and Alex

will send them out.

Date of next meeting: Wednesday 5th April 2006 at 7.30pm
